Roshan Named Teacher of the Future – Bullis math teacher receives national recognition

Upper School Math Teacher Stacey Roshan has been selected by the National Association of Independent Schools as one of its “Teachers of the Future.” Chosen from a pool of nominees, Roshan was selected because of her innovative flipped-classroom methodology. She and the 20 others selected were recognized for inspiring academic excellence in students and serving as role models and opinion leaders for educators.
Roshan’s pioneering use of the flipped classroom has received national recognition, and she continuously monitors new innovations in teaching and technology to bring to her students and classroom. In her role with NAIS she will lead an online discussion forum to share her findings and ideas with others.
