In Ramsey Musallam’s 3 Rules to Spark Learning TED Talk, he asks educators to think about how they can cultivate a culture of curiosity in their classrooms. I used Zaption to highlight key takeaways, to engage and focus viewers, and to prompt educators to think more deeply about how they can spark their students’ imagination.
This Zaption tour is an example of how an administrator might “flip” a faculty meeting. Not only would time be freed up for longer discussion, but the administrator would also have time to view reactions before the group assembled. These analytics could be used to create smaller breakout groups of faculty and would also allow the administrator time to create more meaningful, customized discussion opportunities/resources during the meeting. What’s more, faculty would have time to process and individually reflect on the video before engaging in discussion with the group.
If you’d like to use and customize this tour, you can find it in the Zaption Gallery here.
