Embracing #Edtech to Start Off the Year Strong #EdpuzzleReads #TechWithHeart @edpuzzle @PearDeck @MicrosoftFlip @justmotehq @canva

Edpuzzle chose my book, Tech with Heart, to lead a series of conversations throughout the month of August. We started with a back-to-school edition of EdpuzzleLive, where I was joined by Steve Martinez for a panel discussion with the Edpuzzle team.

After a fun contest on Twitter, we closed the month with a Twitter chat. The four questions we discussed in the 30-minute chat were:

Q1: In what ways do you help your quietest students make their ideas heard in the classroom?

Q2: Share an experience when technology helped you connect with a student on a deeper or more personal level.

Q3: How do you ensure strong communication with parents so that they can become part of your trusted team from early in the year?

Q4: How might you reimagine your lesson design or classroom environment to better encourage all students to participate?

I wanted to compile my responses in hopes that some of the ideas and resources I shared can be useful to you.

If you are looking to discuss any of these ideas further, I’d love to continue the discussion on Twitter. I’m @buddyxo. Or feel free to reach out to me directly.

Wishing everyone a wonderful year ahead!
