I played around with App Inventor in my programming class last year, but just as a trial. David Wolber made everything that I did possible! I would highly recommend checking out his site. I have purchased his book off of Amazon and can’t wait to get started with it.
My plans with using App Inventor this year are to use it in the Winter, when my Intro to Programming class will be combined with a Web Design course (I will be teaching 2 classes at once, pretty much). So I was thinking the programmers could be creating the apps and then the web designers would be responsible for putting the apps “on display.”
