It’s exam time at my school. We’re on trimesters – so it’s already time for the dreaded exam :) This year, I have a class set of iPads. One of my main goals for the year is to get students teaching students – and me being more of a facilitator in the classroom rather than a driver. So instead of me standing at the board and going over the exam review questions that students found challenging, I had students work in pairs to create video responses to these questions.
What I’ll do differently in the future: to select the problems that videos need to be made for, I’ll start a Google spreadsheet with a list of question numbers so that I have a running tally of questions that need to be reviewed.
