I wanted to share a writeup of a final project that I had the opportunity to work with our Human Geography teachers on. Tech tools integrated into this project include ThingLink, Weebly, and Buncee.
Ninth grade Human Geography students spent the last month of the school year analyzing how megacities (10+ million people) are transforming the world. After researching one megacity through the lens of the Human Geography course themes (population, culture, economic development, agriculture, urban planning and political organization) and documenting their findings by designing a Weebly website and Buncee PSA, students were able to answer the following research question:
How has a megacity transformed the site and situation of its area over time and how will this impact the lives of its inhabitants in the next 50 years?
